How do I upload and stream media from my UW streaming media folder?
Part of the web hosting services provided to students, faculty, and staff by UW Computing and Communications is the ability to stream media. This service is not turned on by default. To activate this ability on your UW account, follow the instructions on the C&C web site here:
How to Activate a Streaming Media Directory
This will create a folder called public_media where you can upload media files for streaming. You can test to see if it worked by following the instructions here:
