Copy and reinstall your IE favorites

You may want to send your favorites to someone else or copy them for your home computer.

To export your IE favorites, open Internet Explorer. Click on File -->
Import and Export... The Import/Export Wizard will open up. Click Next.
Select an action to perform: highlight Export Favorites. Click Next.

A directory/folder tree will appear. If your favorites are organized
into folders, you have the option of selecting a particular folder to
export. If you want to copy all of your favorites, select Favorites at
the top of the tree. Click Next.

Make sure the radio button is selected next to Export to a File or
Address. Click browse to search for a particular location or enter the
location where you want to save the copy of your favorites. For example,
go to Browse and click on the Desktop icon. Click Next. Click Finish,
and wait until the alert box pops up to tell you Successfully Exported
Favorites. Click OK.

To reinstall your favorites on the "new" computer, the process is similar. Move your Favorites that you just copied to a location accessible to the new computer, such as the N:\\ drive's Temporary folder. Open Internet Explorer on the new computer. File --> Import and Export --> Next --> select Import Favorites and click Next --> select location where copy was stored by entering or clicking on browse and click Next --> highlight destination and click Next --> Finish --> OK.
