How do I log into a SharePoint site?
Click on the URL of the SharePoint site you are trying to access, or copy and paste the URL into the address field of your browser.
In the popup box, type netid\<your UW NetID> in the User name field. Then type in your password and click OK.
Be careful, the symbol after ischool is a backslash, found above your Enter/Return key, not the forward slash found on the [?] key. If you do not use the backslash, your login will not be recognized.
NOTE: On our portal server, if you were a student before the Autumn 2009, it is possible you were added to a Sharepoint site under the iSchool domain, in which case you might need to sign in with your ischool userid and password. In that case, you would sign in as: ischool\<your ischool username> and password.
