iSchool Accounts & Services
How do I access my iSchool files remotely?
We recommend using the Secure FTP program, which is included with the UWICK materials. You can download the UWICK CD components from http://www.washington.edu/computing/software/uwick/.
If you are a student using a Mac please see this related article. Please note that the iSchool does not support the Macintosh platform.
To work with your online folders start your Secure FTP program and connect to ftp.ischool.washington.edu.
If you are using UWick to access your files, go to UWick in your start menu and click on Secure FTP. In the window that opens, click on 'quick connect'. The host name will be 'ftp.ischool.washington.edu' and your user name is your iSchool user name.
Students can access the following folders:
- H Drive
- Project Folder
- Temporary Folders
Faculty and Staff can access:
- H Drive
- Desktop D Drive (only if the system is online)
- Laptop D Drive (only if the system is online)
- Administration Folders
- Web Folders
- Courses
- Project Folders
- Temporary Folders
- Faculty-GA
