Screen 1/Projector 1: Located closest to the door

Screen 2/Projector 2: Closest to the Instructor’s station

To Lower Screens:

Switches are on the wall labeled screen 1 and screen 2

To Turn ON Power (VCR, room speakers, wireless microphone):

1. Power up system (white switch on left of power control box) – up position on switch

To Turn OFF Power:

1. Power down system (switch on left of power control box )– down position on switch

To Use Microphone:

1. Make sure receiving unit is on

2. On Audio Amplifier, make sure master and input 1 are up

To Project from Any Device:

1. Turn ON Projector
   1. Boxlight remote works with both projectors

   2. Projector 2 can be turned on while standing at Instructor’s station.

   3. Projector 1 can be turned on while in front of Projector 2

2. Select Projector on Output (Proj 1/ Screen 1) or (Proj 2 /Screen 2)

3. Then select Device on Input

4. To use both projectors: repeat 1 and 2 for remaining projector

5. Turn OFF Projector, Hit the on/off button twice

To Use Computer Workstation:

1. Turn on Computer (monitor should already be on)
   1. Computer will boot up logged into labpc ID

   2. To Login to an iSchool ID see Troubleshooting section

2. On Projection Switcher, Select Input #1 (Comp)

3. For Audio Master volume and Inputs # 2 and #3 need to be turned up

4. See above for setting the projection equipment correctly

To Use Laptop:

1. Plug monitor cable labeled laptop into monitor output port on laptop

2. If no wireless network card, then plug Ethernet Network cable into laptop Ethernet port.

3. On Projection Switcher, Select #2 (Laptop)

4. See above for setting the projection equipment correctly

To Use Document Camera:

1. Turn on Document Camera on left hand side of machine (large silver button)

2. On Projection Switcher, Select Input #5 (Doc Cam)

3. Side Lights are located on the right side of the Document Camera controls

To Use VCR/DVD:

1. Make sure master power is on

2. On Projection Switcher, Select Input #3 (VCR/DVD)

3. On Audio Amplifier, Make sure master, input #4 and Input #5 are turned up

4. Input selector box needs to be on CV1

Troubleshooting

Problem: Blue screen on projector

Things to Check:

1. Make sure projector has an input on the Projection Switch

a. Select the projector and then select the correct machine input

2. Make sure input is on and functioning

3. Make sure the projector is set to Input 1 (last resort)

a. Hit input select button on remote till Input 1 comes up

Problem: Microphone not working

Things to Check

1. Make sure Master power is on and the receiver unit is on

2. Make sure microphone is on

3. Make sure microphone receiver unit is set to channel 41

4. Make sure microphone batteries has a charge

a. Press the check battery button, if there is only a red light , change batteries

b. There are rechargeable batteries at the Instructor’s Station in Computer Classroom.

c. Takes 2 AA batteries

Problem: Can’t get to personal H drive on computer workstation

Solution: Computer boots up with ID labpc

1. Logout of labpc ID by selecting Start| Log Off

2. Login with a iSchool ID of your choice

Problem: Can’t get speakers, VCR or microphone to work

Solution: Check to see if Master Power is on

1. Yellow Lights 1-6 should be lit, if not see #2.

2. Check to see if Red Master Switch is on
   1. Turn on Red switch on right side – up position on switch

   2. Then Power up system (white switch on left of power control box) – up position on switch
