I have a slow internet connection, is there a way to burn updates onto a CD?

There is a way; however, it is not pain-free.

Once you've burned the updates to a CD you will have to install them one-by-one on your system. So if you are in a hurry and only have dial-up Internet access this may be useful to you.

By the way when you go to pick your operating system you will see some version that say RTM. This stands for Release To Manufacturer and is the first version of the product opposed to a Service Pack version, which would be denoted by SP(1,2,3...).
