Add path and filename to Word documents

It's useful to know immediately where an electronic file is located when you're looking at a printed document. In Word it's easy to add the electronic location to the footer so it's always available.

In Word, click on View --> Header and Footer --> click on the icon to Switch between Header and Footer -

-> Insert Auto Text --> Filename and Path.
Press the spacebar.

Click on the Calendar icon to insert current date.
Press the spacebar.

Click on the Clock icon to insert the current time.
Highlight all the text in the footer. Change to 8 pt.

The filename and path will update automatically if you move the document, and the date and time will always be the current date. In such a small font, the path and filename will be unobtrusive yet available whenever needed.
