iSchool Check-out Equipment
The iSchool began an official checkout program in the spring of 2003. Since then we have added many items to the growing list of equipment iSchool students may check out and we have also made many improvements to our procedures based on student feedback.
Equipment available for checkout includes: laptop and tablet computers, projectors, digital audio recorders, transcriptions devices, mini DV portable editors and a graduate student senate funded digital camera for graduate students.
Please allow 15 minutes for equipment pick-up and drop-off so that we may properly process equipment and ensure that you have an enjoyable checkout experience. You will need to show the lab staff your Husky Card and driver’s license. We will check to make sure the equipment is working when you pick it up and again when you return it.
Detailed information regarding iSchool equipment checkouts is available at:
http://www.ischool.washington.edu/technology/checkouts.aspx
Once you are ready to reserve your checkout, you can login to the system using your iSchool UserID at the web address: http://www.ischool.washington.edu/checkoutweb
During the checkout process, you will be presented with the policy and procedures specific to your item as well as further instructions on how to use your equipment.
