How to create a new Sharepoint 2007 site or subsite

To create a new Sharepoint 2007 site on Portal (the iSchool's public Sharepoint server), go to the Portal front page and follow the instructions.

To create a sub-site from an already existing Sharepoint site, go to the homepage of your site. Then click on the arrow next to Site Actions and select Site Settings.

Under the Site Administration column, click Sites and Workspaces.

Then on the next page, click Create.

Fill out the information and permissions you would like for your new site, and then click create. Your new site should be ready to use immediately.
